Scorchio,

It was worse than that, even.

He didn't actually tackle or shepherd; the ball broke to the right of Slurp or whatever his fucking name is, and Andy simply, without breaking stride, just pushed it away with his left foot (in the vid that's doing the rounds, taken from goal side, you can see AC clearly just push the ball away at the 7 / 8 second mark).

Doesn't alter the fact we should've just fucked the ball off upfield prior to that, instead of making a Sunday morning Wanstead Flats schoolboy error.

Vardy now been changed with improper conduct and Leicester been charged for failing to control their players. Nothing about Carroll being charged. Are the wheels slowly starting to come off for them

Leicester charged with failing to control their players after our pen

Netball is a game where defenders aren't even allowed to attack, and attackers aren't allowed to defend.

Far more suited to people who are criticising Andy Carroll as if there was the slightest justification for giving the penalty.

Re: Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 2-2
But he didn't really even try and make a tackle. That's what's the real kick. He was just running alongside and shepherding Schlupp away from goal and Schlupp decided to do an impression of a dying swan which the ref bought hook, line and sinker.

It wasn't even subtle, or a convincing dive. That's what's so annoying about it.

half the team at fault for the goal. Worst of all Lanzini!

Valencia gave it away like a mug and then got sucked in to chalenge the guy with the ball. But behind him their guy just jogged into space in the middle, passing Lanzini as he walked back.

Kouyate was backing off but at least was trying to cover the ball through to the guy out wide but it left a huge hole in the middle for the bal carrier to move into. And if you watch it again you'll wonder why, when we initially had the ball approaching their half way line, the centre backs were virtually standing on the 6 yard line.

All in all an appalling goal to concede. Blame the ref sure but it was always going to be given as soon as everyone left it to Carroll to lumber in there. Comical stuff and entirely our own fault.

If Carroll didn't make the tackle and they had scored as a result, everyone would have been praising him, right?

PS I wouldn't have

A forward attempting to make a tackle in their own box, in the dying seconds of a game. Never gonna end well, is it?. It was clumsy, if you ask me.

How anyone can blame Carroll is beyond me.

His challenge was fair and never in a million years a penalty.

If anything he made up for Valencia's error, if you are going to blame anyone it has to be Valencia for not using his brain (If he even has one. I find myself every game complaining about his lack of footballing brain).

agree mate, but you've assumed Moss stuck with 15 seconds, and extinguished the fairytale.

Huth and Morgan are animals and therefore CUNTS.

Mind you, if they played for us then they'd be OUR CUNTS and I'd be very pleased. I suspect we'd be where Leicester are now.

Speaking of cunts, RC you can FUCK right off!! There are some right crybaby, simpering and plastic wankers on here, aren't there?

Above everything else , what a great game of football yesterday . Full of talking points , a great performance ( if only we'd started like that on Wednesday ) , and a point against the runaway league leaders . What's not to like ?

So what bloody game were you watching, certainly not west ham.

We really need to beat Watford on Wednesday. We haven't won in well over a month now.

First half shit, second half alot better and what a goal from Cresswell

Vardy got what he deserved was a blatant dive. Should get extra for finger to the ref too, but he wont as its their fairytale season.

Payet needs a rest, was poor again. Thought we'd managed to nick it and still not sure if theres was a pen or not at the end

Liverpool breathing down our necks now, HAVE to get top 6. Improvement needed for last 5 games

JFK

& I think you're talking horse shit.

It's happened far too often & most recently in last 6 games for it to be bad luck. Fuck the refs poor decision they shouldn't have been anywhere near the box.

In the last few minutes we were totally unprofessional, had a total lack of composure to the point of embarrassment. In short we defended lick a poxy pub team & not for the 1st time this season.

If you want to know how it should have been done look at Leicester's last 5 games in terms of game management & closing teams out. That's because they have been well managed & well coached. In sort they're at it & switched on.

All that's been compounded by the same Bilic errors over the last 6 games in terms of selection, set up, tactics, subs etc, & gone over earlier. Him & the team have learned nothing whilst making those errors & just been repeating the same basic errors & I'm far more pissed off with them than any ref error.

What happened yesterday was similar to 2006 cup final when that should have been killed off , but some people wax lyrical about that as well & how unlucky we were. It's bullshit as far as I'm concerned.

I actually think it's a little bit naive from Carroll, why give him the option?

I'm more worried about us constantly conceding 2+ goals every game than any refereeing decisions.
